Bringing equal social experiences to people with intellectual disability
I volunteered over 100 hours in helping lead organizers to help bring the same social experiences to peoples with intellectual disability. I strongly believe these folks are just like us, its just that their thinking is a bit different but, are fundamentally human beings and deserve to have the same experiences that we teenagers have. Though, it was very challenging at times, doing this project greatly helped me in my communication skills as my friends here are some of the toughest people to negotiate with in the world.
