Designing a Blackberry Playbook interface for a hybrid vehicle
UWAFT (University of Waterloo Alternate fuels team) is currently participating in an international hybrid vehicle competition called EcoCAR 2. EcoCAR is a three year competition sponsored by the US Department of Energy, General Motors and Natural Resources Canada, where students design, build a hybrid vehicle.
As part of the competition, I am hoping to design and build a touchscreen interface used in the Chevrolet Malibu 2013. I will be working with the technical and business team members to build a viable consumer application. This would be one of the first times that a Blackberry Playbook would be used in such a function and I am really excited to be working on such a project. Currently, the UWAFT team is placed first among 15 universities participating in the competition.
